Position Overview: As Staff Captain, you will support the Captain in overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the ship, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, and managing deck and bridge teams. You will lead safety efforts, supervise training, and handle any incidents or emergencies, while maintaining high standards of service for both passengers and crew.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Captain in ship operations, navigation, and safety.
• Supervise deck officers and crew, ensuring the ship’s readiness and maintenance.
• Conduct and oversee safety drills and emergency procedures.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company policies.
• Represent the Captain in their absence and manage the ship in emergencies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Unlimited (II/2) Certificate or equivalent.
• Significant experience in Staff Captain position on board a crusie vessel
• Strong knowledge of maritime safety and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Crisis management experience and calm under pressure.
• Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
