Office Manager/Business Operations Manager – Miami

Navis Consulting have an opportunity for an individual with a passion for the yachting sector with acute management skills. This role is aimed at an individual wanting to take the next step in their career and use their creative mindset. You will be managing across multiple sites taking in a variety of tasks to make sure your team are performing to the highest ability keeping to the highest of standard.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to compile and manage the US budget, track actual performance against budget, and identify significant variances.
* Develop and execute growth strategies for the US market.
* Drive operational capabilities in the US to exceed customer satisfaction and retention targets, as well as overall company goals.
* Exercise control over regional costs, implement tactical initiatives to address fraud and minimize losses.
* Monitor, review, and approve regional invoices, expenses, money handling procedures, accounting, compliance, and bank processes.
* Prepare timely analyses of bank/credit card information as part of the group Management Accountant process.
* Generate accurate financial performance reports in a timely manner.
* Delegate responsibilities to facilitate the professional growth of team members.
* Implement initiatives to coach employees for optimal performance.
* Evaluate and implement improved processes, incorporating new technologies, and collaborate with management on their implementation.
* Manage brokerage licenses.
* Take charge of local recruitment, onboarding, personnel records, benefits, payroll, and training.
* Record office expenditures and manage the budget effectively.
* Provide oversight and management of US offices and facilities.
* Ensure local staff adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures, with a focus on data responsibilities, including GDPR.
* Negotiate new contracts with suppliers or customers on behalf of the company.
* Prepare detailed budgets to enhance the cost-efficiency of the business.
* Manage regional projects or handle ad-hoc requests as required by the business.

Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a complex enterprise.
* Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous complex enterprise.
* Demonstrated success in managing complex budgets.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience working effectively with staff at all levels.

My client is looking for a candidate willing to learn and put in hard work to keep developing in their career. Having knowledge within the marine sector is an advantage but not necessary. All candidates must have a full VISA and rights to work in the USA, no sponsorship help for this role.
