A major Cruise Line is looking for a Pastry Sous Chef to join their fleet of large and luxurious ships.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily shipboard pastry/bakery operations
  • Ensure that all items prepared by your team meet food handling, presentation, and quality standards
  • Work with the Executive Chef in training your Assistant Pastry Chef and other direct reports

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as Pastry Chef in a large upscale banqueting service, cruise ship, hotel, or resort
  • Cruise ship experience will be beneficial but is not essential
  • It would be advantageous to have French, German or Spanish speaking skills
  • Must be COVID vaccinated
  • Prepared to be away for home for several months at a time
