Restaurant Operations Manager – Cruise
Job Function:
To supervise all Restaurant activities and ensure compliance to all company standards. Administer performance of all management and service team, to monitor and optimize daily schedules, evaluate all Restaurant operations performance, to facilitate and plan training for all managers, supervisors, and restaurant employees, to maintain all work according to compulsory knowledge, procedures and policies while ensuring consistency in service, revenue, and healthy working ethics.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- To ensure compliance of ECP and all health, environmental, safety, security procedures related to the area of responsibility and embrace the company’s culture essentials.
- To adhere to company standard operating procedures and increase sales while minimizing cost (food, beverage, supply, efficient scheduling).
- To ensure appropriate training is carried out for the entire Restaurant Service Team.
- To take the lead in management training
- To coordinate Restaurant Service Team training
- Has accountability to maintain professional Restaurant outlook, Restaurant cleanliness, standard uniforms, and appearance
- Fiscal responsibilities and reports (inclusive and specialty Restaurants)
- To hold weekly operational meeting with all Managers
- Administrative Duties
- Employee Relations and & Communication
- Regulatory Compliance
Minimum Requirements:
- International restaurant / hotel management certification
- Must have at least 5+ years of operating – Cruise / hotel / hospitality, high volume restaurant & multi venue experience, is required.
- Must have experience in leading and supporting operating team of 300+
- Must be detail oriented with an eye for guest experience and guest satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills, effective communicator, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate and drive resolution across multifunctional area.
- Ability to communicate effectively to guests and onboard teams.
- Requires regular movement throughout the fleet.
